Game 11

by Tango

Game 11 started accepting signups, after a long wait, at about 1430 hours SK Time on 9th April 2002. The game then started at midnight on 12th April 2002.
Fenris is continuing to exist this game, but in a slightly modified form. Rather than multiple sister alliances of 35 sectors each, there will be one alliance with a small number of sectors. This will allow the new AL (Elegy), VAL and the War Chiefs to keep control of the alliance and keep the forums tidy and well organised.
Fenris’ aim remains to alter the attitude of Starkingdoms to retals. We will be continuing to enforce the “Fair Hits” rule this game, which states that no hits on kingdoms with 2/3 the land of the attacker will be retaled, and no such retals will be tolerated on Fenris kingdoms.
Hopefully this game will be as fun as last game. Good luck to everyone and let the wolf HOWL!!!

What is Fenris Howl

by Swordzman

This is the Fenris Howl mission statement! The Fenris Howl is currently staffed by three members, but we could always use more help. We look forward to offering you weekly Starkingdoms news, and Alliance Overviews. The Howl will cover all major Alliance events, and outcomes. Expect to see top and rising Fenris Alliance members interviewed. One of the major purposes of this newsletter is to motivate new members to be active with in the alliance. If you do your best, you should be recognized, and the Howl will do our best to see that you are!
We hope to become a great source of Fenris and SK history. All issues of the Fenris Howl will be logged and saved at the Fenris Howl yahoo group, and the Fenris Alliance yahoo group. These back issues will become a history book in time. If you’d like to become a part of Fenris History, and Starkingdoms history be active. Help the alliance achieve its goal, and so become recognized.
We here at the Howl would like to receive your work! If you have any Fenris related writings, such as strategy guides and stories of your exploits on SK, or just really cool stuff that you’d like published, email a member of our staff with your work attached. If you have any comments, suggestions, or would like to nominate someone to be interviewed please contact any of our staff members. If you have a complaint, keep it to yourself! (Only joking, please contact us with any complaints so that we may do our best to put them right.)

An Interview with Elegy, the Alliance Leader

by Veii
In talking with Elegy I learned much about the man behind the alliance. First, in an effort to improve the quality of the alliance itself, but also wishes to improve the familial feeling that already exists in Fenris.
In regards to planet types, nobody can question the bonuses that come with Volcanic Inferno. However, Elegy stated that he “needed a change.” He decided to go with Desert Wasteland for the powerful punch; a whopping 25% with the SL bonus tacked on. He also hinted that he might have a strategy in his pocket—watch out for Elegy whiping on some heads and biting some throats.
After this game Elegy plans to either retire for a game or just be one of the guys, basically he wants to be a grunt.

Well, good luck, Elegy.
